ePS, (eProcurement Services) a Michigan-based eMarketplace cloud solution provider, has announced it has established a $1 million funding program to help National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) members with their digital transformation.
“Nationally, many of our minority small businesses have suffered severe financial issues because of the COVID-19 shutdown. According to McKinsey & Co., the 1.1 million minority-owned small businesses with employees in America often have underlying issues that make it harder to remain in operation, and the presence of COVID has only made those conditions worse.

In the midst of this, many MBE’s are seeking to expand their customer base into new markets including government (B2G) and large private industry (B2B) accounts. To meet the online purchasing requirements of these customers, these small businesses must quickly transform the way they are conducting business,” said ePS President and CEO David Saroli.

ePS’s product offering complements the requirements of B2B and B2G buyers. Their purchasing, order processing and distribution fulfillment cloud software allows small business to automate and streamline business processes both between the customer and the MBE and between the MBE and its wholesale/distributor partners. The ePS solutions have greatly enhanced the ability for minority-owned small businesses to engage with B2B and B2G customers on a much larger scale, implementing a more efficient and cost-effective business model.

Saroli and ePS are corporate members of the NMSDC and regularly offer webinars for certified MBE’s throughout the country. “ePS as a model, focuses on minority and veteran-owned businesses and this support and funding program was an easy call,” said Saroli. He instructed his board of directors this month to establish the $1 million funding program for ePS which cuts costs for NMSDC members to digitally transform via the ePS solutions.

As the fastest-growing category of small businesses, minority-owned companies are significant contributors to the economic future of American communities. Minority small businesses which are interested in taking advantage of ePS’s COVID Financial Relief funding program can call ePS sales at 1-248-630-7200 or email sales@eprosvcs.com.
